I offer evaluations and testing options for students.
Evaluations are simply a sampling of the student’s work from the previous year that show adequate progress. These can be organized in different manners. It can be a binder, workbooks, pictures or even a cardboard box. People have used many different formats to organize their portfolio. Some families have used private Facebook pages, seesaw, and dropbox. It doesn’t need to be fancy! I just look through the work samples and have a conversation with the parent and child about how the year has gone.
The prices for virtual/ in person evaluations are as follows:
$40/$65 for one student
$75/$100 for two students
$105/$130 for three students
For a virtual evaluation, parents can send 10-15 work samples a reading log, and log of educational activities to my email at floridaevals@gmail.com. These can be samples from the beginning, middle and end of the year to show progress. We would also schedule a phone or video call.
An in person evaluation would be very similar. There would the same requirements except we would meet in person at a local library and discuss the school year.
